As I was working on these photos a few weeks after the photoshoot, I felt that time is nothing but a blur. It flies by so quickly, and the only things that manage to stand still are photos of the moments I had experienced. The engagement session with Ze & David was sweet and delightful like a cup of Pinkberry yogurt on a warm, summer day. David & Ze were referred to me by my sister in law, Janet. They are both friends and coworker from AMGEN pharmaceutical company. On our initial consultation, Ze & David confessed that they are not the “camera-person”; and that they haven’t done any photoshoot before, and would need a lot of help from me. They were wrong. Hahaha. Actually, almost all the couples that I have worked with said the same thing. But people generally underestimate themselves. After giving them some instruction prior to our photoshoot, David and Ze were completely natural in front of the camera. We started out at the Getty Center, and then moved to Laguna Beach for the beach scene. Ze’s parents actually tagged along on the shoot. Ze’s dad helped with lighting and Ze’s mom was doing behind-the-photographer shots. 🙂 I guess everyone was actively helping out to get the best out of the photoshoot. Well, we did. Tada…The photos came out lovely as one may say. Looking forward to their small, private wedding in a few weeks.
