I love coming back to this beautiful city of New Orleans. The foods, the lovely & busty streets of French Quarter, and the Southern hospitality are second to none. One of the most unique and beautiful places I have travelled to. I finding myself missing this place when I am back in California. The weddings here are so lively, energetic, and fun. This wedding of Erika & Luis is a perfect example of just that. Looking back, everything just seems like yesterday. How time has flied so quickly – from the time we gleefully walked the streets of French Quarter and captured those loving moments of Erika & Luis’s engagement session, to the time of their amazingly beautiful wedding, and to now. Moments came and go. But these photos here are the perfect still frames of their memories. It brings back so much memories as I was culling their wedding photos and editing these for the blog. Their wedding day started calm, quiet at the Ritz Carlton. We had fun taking photos of all the lovely details and preparation photos of Erika & Luis and the bridal party. Then as the afternoon rolled in, the energy and liveliness of New Orleans streets began to emerge, and so was their wedding day. Against the loud and crowded, parade-backdrop of French Quarter, we hastily made our way to the magnificient church of Holy Name of Jesus. When I entered this church, I instantly marvelled and gravitated toward the splendor of its beauty. The high ceilings, the arch columns, and the decors are just mesmerizing. After their wedding ceremony, we went back to the Ritz Carlton, and that was where the fun began. Our team began capturing all the beautiful details and when the grand entrance started, everything was like an adrenaline rush for me. The party was wild and crazy. Everyone was dancing and enjoying the wonderful night. Enjoy the photos. I love every part of this wedding. Thank you Erika & Luis for this amazing day.
