MyNgoc + Truong Wedding

Grab a seat, get a drink and snack ready, because you are about to see some of the most beautiful wedding photos I have shot. What you are about to see is a destination wedding I shot on December 1, 2012 in New Orleans, Louisiana. We arrived on Friday, just a day before the wedding. Stopped by the bride’s house to drop the canvas print, and we were greeted with great southern hospitality. We were offered some of the best New Orleans foods that I have tasted – the homemade gumbo soup and jambalaya. MyNgoc’s mom, Mary-Hanh, is one sweet lady. She made sure that we are well-fed and properly cared for like all of her guests. We were stuffed when we left. But the foods fueled our energy for the next day. 🙂 December’s weather in New Orleans was just perfect. Sunny but very cool, not warm and humid like the time I arrived for the engagement session in October. The wedding day started with the morning preparation, then it went into the Bridal session, which I absolutely love. For the bridal session, we went to a park nearby , and it looks pretty much like  a swamp – a typical scene of Nola. Who would have thought the swamp would provide a perfect backdrop for our shoot. We had so much fun working with all the bridesmaids, groomsmen, and the bride & groom. The bridesmaids look stunningly beautiful in their purple gowns, and everyone was so easy to work with.  MyNgoc & Truong once again shined through the shoot with their sweet, playful, and audacious personalities which showcase fun in all the photos below.  After the bridal session, we rushed back in time for the tea ceremony at the bride’s house. Then we headed to the most beautiful church in New Orleans – the St. Joseph. It has one of the most longest aisles. The church is simply breathtaking with sweeping, magnificent wall paintings, stained glasses and arches & columns. It is one of the oldest church with dating all the way back to early 1890s. Wow! Afterward, the wedding ended at the Crystal Palace Hall. It is one of the largest venues I have shot. There were over 600 guests attended. There were beautiful decors, details, and delicious foods. With over 600 guests, this is one of the wildest and largest wedding that I had the pleasure to document. It was so wild that, near the end, Truong & the best man’s shirts got ripped off. 🙂 Congratulations to MyNgoc & Truong! Thank you for a fun, memorable wedding.
One of the most generous bride I have seen. Beside the gifts, she rewarded the bridesmaids with tickets to Las Vegas…hence the “LV” signs. 🙂This gotta be the best “Best Man” speech I have ever heard. It was to the straight to the point and filled with belly-cracking humors. Like everyone, I laughed so hard. Seriously, he can do stand-up comedy. Good job “MAP” – the best man. Credits:
