I can’t describe how excited I am to share this engagement session photos of My-Ngoc & Truong. First of all, I have to affirm that “Southern Hospitality” in down south is wonderful, or even the best. My-ngoc & Truong are both from New Orleans, which is way down south in Lousiana. They are both pharmacists and have been together for about 7 years. Their story of how they met is one of the sweetest and most romantic story I have heard. I think that most guys can take a lesson from Truong of how to court a girl. He really went out of his ways to impress Ngoc. One of the many things he did was he got Ngoc’s best friend Mei to borrow Ngoc car’s key, and filled her car with flowers. Then Truong went to Ngoc’s class and left her flowers at her seat. Wow, talking about a lot of planning and being creative. Anyhow, while I was there I got to meet many of their friends, who are overly supportive and sweet. Everyone was really involved in helping her with the video shoot that she was doing for the wedding slideshow, and helping out on the engagement session. I was totally blown away of how everyone is so sweet and kind toward another. Shirley, a friend of Ngoc, gave me a tour of the French quarter a day before so that I can plan the shoot. Sweet, sweet girl. On the day of the shoot, Ngoc’s mom, and her friends Mei and Theresa came along to help. It was warm and humid in New Orleans, and not a single frowning face on any of the helpers. She has the most amazing supportive friends. We totally had a blast. New Orleans is like a photographer’s paradise. Everywhere is so lusty green with trees. Rivers are all around the city, so as you should know – where there’s a lot of water, there are a lot of mosquitoes. Lol. I got a few bites for souvenirs. Hahhaha. Our first stop was the Oak Valley Plantation. It was a gorgeous place with all the big oak trees, and the house has so much history that I felt like I was transported back to another time. We spent a few hours there at the plantation, then headed to the French Quarter for the night shots of the lively place. The day went by so quickly, and we have captured many breathtakingly beautiful photos of them. So ” y’all enjoy photos!” Leave them some love. Let them know what y’all think <–Southern accent. 🙂
Admiring the dedication you put into your blog and in
depth information you offer. It’s good to come across a blog every once in a while that isn’t the same old rehashed material.
