The Majestic Beauty of Grand Canyon

This past weekend I had the opportunity to hike and camp at one of the World’s Seven Wonders – the Grand Canyon.  It is the largest and second deepest canyon in the world. Its majesty and beauty is unimaginable. In the bottom is the Colorado River which rushes throughout canyon, and to the sides of the canyons are rocks, cliffs, ridges, hills and valleys of every form. It is covered with array of colorful hues from the clear blue sky, orange-red rocks, and green pine trees. These photos I captured are just a fraction of how the canyons look. They are my memoirs of the trip. To fully experience it, one needs to be there and witness its majestic beauty. Wow! Will, Lai, David are the edge of the cliff. My hiking crew ahead of me…I’m always the last one behind with a camera. The hiking trail going down the canyon. From the top, it’s about 5000-6000 ft high, you don’t want to slip and fall. This is not for people with acrophobia. Me…at the edge of a cliff. The view is spectacular. Magical beauty. A California Condo flew into my sight. Below is the Kolb Studio, built in 1903 by the Kolb brothers. The brothers were Ellsworth and Emery Kolb. They were the pioneering frontier photographers who specialized in national park tourism. Much respect after reading about their perseverance  and persistence story of creating their profitable photography business at the Grand Canyon.
