It was a clear, sunny, beautiful day in Southern California when we were doing Lily & John’s engagement session. John & Lily are currently living out of state, but both came back to California (where they met) for their engagement session. John was born and raised in Orange County, went to UCLA for economics major, and got his MBA from Loyola Marymount; and Lily was born and raised in Tulsa, Oklahoma, and received her dentistry degree at Western University of Pomona. Both seemingly came from distant backgrounds, but it was faith that brought them together at Crimson night club in Hollywood, CA. They have been together since 2009. Since then, they have been inseparable. They are also great friends of Jannie & Andy, my wonderful, past clients from New Orleans.  For our first location, we went to one of my secret locations. So secret that we got a little bit lost trying to find it. It’d been a few years that I have gone there. But we finally found it, and boy it was worth it. This place is magnificent. With the marvelous Lily and John in their tux and gown, the magnificent location, and beautiful blue sky as our back drop, the photos came out much better than what I expected. I was like WOW when I saw the proofs. For our second location, I had to take them to the iconic place of LA – Walt Disney Concert Hall. We had so much fun walking around downtown LA and doing our photoshoot. I can wait for their upcoming two weddings in Oklahoma and Orange County. 🙂
